“The Hired Hand” by Paul Trupia
Starring: Sarah Schoofs Jennifer Nakayama Matthew Bayer Directed by Kristin Bellamarie
Another fine example of Paul Trupia’s observations. What IF the tables were turned? What if women hired men for all kinds of “services”? Can the age old adage that it is impossible to have sex, repeatedly, and not have feelings for your partner? But sometimes, it’s not only about sex. It’s about communicating with someone. “The Hired Hand” turns the tables and tips them on end and brings to an end the first series of Black Box Theater.

“Blown Away” by E.M. Burkhard.
A play inspired by real events, which is a genre not often represented in theater. “Blown Away” is not for the faint of heart or weak of wind, but rather for those with a good sense of humor. In typical Black Box Theater tradition, “Blown Away” takes a very real premise and adds just the right amount of humor and punch in order to make a black box staple. We’ve all been in similar situations. Well, most of us anyway…

Just *POSSIBLY* cast as a refugee in the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film NOAH!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
I *THINK* I was just cast as the ‘refugee’ for the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film ‘NOAH’ (Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, and Jennifer Connelly)!!!! I was picked out of a 100+ folk in the crap-shoot open call, fast forwarded to the front of the line, led into a back room with 30+ other dudes (I was THE ONLY girl) and played out scenarios of almost dying.. And dying.. (which I ROCK).. And then they picked me out took my measurements and info!!!!! But does that mean I make it on the boat?? By definition refugee means “a person who flees to a foreign country or power to escape danger” OVER NIGHT SHOOTS WITH TONS OF RAIN!!! SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
