Hello friends, family & fellow artists!

GUT is making it’s very first theatrical release in NYC!!!  I am planning on going on Monday, October 29th since I will be out of town during the opening weekend..

Gut was recently named the winner “Best Thriller Feature” at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival and is the official selection of 14 different film festivals!  I am really proud of this film and am confident all who attend will be equally impressed with the AMAZING quality of this indie!!  All of the reviews so far have been overwhelmingly positive and the updates just keep getting better!!  If you can, blow up the opening weekend, but I would love to see you October 29th when I am going!!!  Join the event page on Facebook below!!

Lots of love,

Sarah

“Gut walks the line between eroticism and violence, similar to how Cronenberg can…”

“GUT isn’t about the snuff film itself; it’s about the effect that such an intense film has on Dan and Tom’s lives. The viewer looking for a graphic, gory, blood bath of a film is going to be extremely disappointed. But if you’re willing to invest in the main characters and the situation they find themselves involved in, then you’re going to be greatly rewarded. As I mentioned above, GUT is a “slow burner” and it’ll get under your skin. It’s been a few days since I’ve watched GUT and I find myself thinking about it often.”

“The first thing that sticks out about Gut is the overall look of the film. This looks very professional from start to finish and there was never a moment where the words “low budget” crossed my mind. Everything in this aspect of the film was done perfectly. The lighting, shots, locations and everything down to the closing sequence just felt right. There are only a handful of characters in Gut and fortunately there isn’t a weak link in the entire cast. The two main characters did an amazing job of capturing the daily grind of an office job and really did an astounding job setting the mood of the film. Then, much to my surprise, when shit hit the fan in Gut and things took a much more serious turn the acting still remained solid on everyone’s behalf. This is a rare occurrence in this type of film.”

“Like the sex element, there is blood and gore in this film as well but they are done in a way that leaves you more fascinated then grossed out. Almost in a way that could be reminiscent of Hitchcock. They give you just enough to keep your attention without having to dumb you down. Gut, manages to draw you into its world within seconds and it manages to keep you involved and interested by giving you great characters and an amazing script.”
