Working in Time Square
So Now I work 3 days a week in Time Square.
The first day to work and I drag myself into the Starbucks, get my lifeline and continue on when I notice a line already formed outside the Good Morning America studio. I’m NEVER in Time Square this early in the morning, nor have I ever had the urge to intentionally wake up on my own at the butt-crack of dawn to see a show.
but…
Being that I am now forced against my will, at least I was treated to a Brad Paisley rehearsal performance on my way. Every morning on my way to work, the Good Morning America show is on the segment where they utilize the studio visible to the random public dragging themselves to work (or the crazies who are there by their own free will…usually the buffoons making stupid faces during serious news segments) Monday I mosey on by and sit by the window and watch Brad Paisley rehearse, today there was some pet lady doing a segment on animals, but the most entertaining part of that segment was watching the monitor where Diane Sawyer is on standby primping for 15 minutes straight. Brushing hair, fixing makeup, people swarming all over the place. Now that’s where the real entertainment lies.
BTW..
The move is still a work in progress but for the most part, I’ve gotten the timing down on the commute am starting to learn all of the varied intricacies of the neighborhood. First couple of weeks were a little rough, but things are FINALLY starting to get back to normal. WOO HOO!
